Impact: Created new model for accessible opera production. Received critical acclaim and royal recognition. Demonstrated how classical music can authentically engage diverse communities whilst maintaining artistic excellence.

Revolutionary accessible LGBTQ+ project that led Birmingham Pride 2022 as part of the Commonwealth festival, centring marginalised voices.
Role: Managed £80,000+ budget and delivery of Commonwealth Games 2022 commission. Led stakeholder relationships and accessibility planning.
Scale: 75,000+ Pride parade audiences, 80+ performers, a series of accessible dance parties.
Impact: Put disabled, fat, trans, and people of colour at the parade front for the first time. Featured in The Guardian, among other press articles and created a blueprint for inclusive Pride representation.
DERBE FESTÉ

Triumphant return of Derby's flagship outdoor arts festival with international programming.
Role: Led programme development and financial management. Managed £200,000+ budget, coordinated multi-venue programming, and line-managed a team of 14.
Scale: 50,000+ visitors to Derby city centre, featuring major works including Tim Etchells' large-scale commissioned installations.
Impact: Re-established Derby Festé as a major regional cultural destination. Proved outdoor arts festivals could safely return post-pandemic, supporting local economic recovery.

Innovative immersive concert experience successfully adapted for digital delivery during the pandemic.
Role: Led creative development and digital transformation. Managed international partnerships with Gulbenkian, Rich Mix, and MAC. Line-managed team of six+.
Scale: Global digital reach, maintained artist employment throughout lockdown, expanded audience reach through national partners.
Impact: Continued serving audiences throughout lockdown when live performance was impossible. Reached more people and homes than originally expected through national partnerships.
FESTIVAL OF AUDACITY
Lead Producer | Beatfreeks | 2019
Multi-disciplinary youth-led arts festival showcasing emerging talent across Birmingham's major transport hubs and cultural venues.
Role: Lead producer overseeing festival strategy and delivery. Line-managed young producers and a team of eight, plus a freelance team of ten. Managed 10+ venue and stakeholder relationships, including New Street Station, National Express, and Grand Central Bullring.
Scale: 20,000+ audiences across Birmingham venues, supported 20+ artists to present and commission new work—featured poetry artists from a programme led by T.S. Eliot Prize winner Roger Robinson.
Impact: Created call to actions for the West Midlands Combined Authority with young people on transport access. Provided real-world experience for eight trainee producers and 12 poets from development programmes. Closing event featured acclaimed artist Lowkey, demonstrating festival's ability to attract major talent whilst championing emerging voices.
THIS IS AN ISLAND
Senior Producer | Sky Arts Commission | 2018-2019
Immersive production exploring Brexit through Birmingham voices, commissioned by Sky Arts and touring major UK venues.
Role: Led successful £50,000 fundraising campaign and managed Sky Arts commission pitch. Oversaw production development with choreographer Gary Clarke, managed touring logistics, and line-managed a team of eight across creative, technical, and marketing departments.
Scale: Featured on Sky Arts Art 50 programme, toured to Sage Gateshead, Barbican Centre, and Birmingham venues. World premiered at Birmingham School of Art through a partnership with Birmingham City University.
Impact: Transformed real Birmingham residents' Brexit views into an acclaimed multi-sensory performance combining dance, spoken word, installations and film. Achieved significant national press coverage and demonstrated how immersive dance work can address complex social issues whilst maintaining accessibility.
BIRMINGHAM INTERNATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL

Month-long international dance celebration with groundbreaking outdoor programming.
Role: Led outdoor programme delivery, managed £500,000+ budgets, line-managed team of six, developed accessible audience strategies.
Scale: 50,000+ audiences across Birmingham, complex multi-venue coordination.
Impact: Established Birmingham's reputation as a major dance destination. Created sustainable frameworks.
TAMED
Producer | Flight of the Escales | 2023
Ambitious site-specific production combining high-quality theatre with deep community engagement in Great Yarmouth.
Role: Producer for Flight of the Escales' most ambitious production to date. Led community engagement programme, managed partnerships with local organisations, and oversaw production development at St. George's Theatre.
Scale: 700+ community participants across workshops and events, 500 audiences across 6 performances, partnerships with Feathers Futures, Original Projects, and Out There Arts.
Impact: Created a replicable model for place-responsive work. Engaged people facing barriers to arts participation for the first time. Strengthened Great Yarmouth's cultural ecology and expanded perceptions of contemporary theatre in the town.
CEREMONY OF SELF
Creative Producer | 2022-2024
Interdisciplinary arts project supporting young women's confidence through ritual, art, and community engagement.
Role: Creative producer leading two-phase development. Activated project with artist Josephine Chime, theatre practitioners Flavia Bertram & Emily Butler, in partnership with Moseley Road Baths.
Scale: Phase 1: Birmingham 2022 Festival exhibition at Moseley Road Baths (August 2022). Phase 2: Monthly workshop series (2024) exploring ritual, art and community for women of all ages.
Impact: Built young women's self-confidence during puberty transition. Evolved into a sustainable monthly series supporting women through life changes. Created bookable ceremonies and resources for community groups.
